How about the use of “impact” for those that can’t figure effect vs. affect? Impacted, impactful, etc.

Hmm reading through this tread I thought 'what a lot of 'precious' people then I got the dictionary/lexicon out and realised how wrong I was.....something tells me windows spell check is on overtime and it has not been made AI yet.

Or the modern trend on faceache/social media of everything being "X saw this and they were amazed/lost it/other inappropriate superlative" only to find a load of clickbait laced with ads.... And guess what? NO PEOPLE ^&£^$ WEREN'T AMAZED/LOST IT/ETC. 

Ahem. 

My personal favourite, as a social media professional, is [FAMOUS PERSON YOU'RE ASSUMED TO LIKE] DESTROYS [FAMOUS PERSON YOU'RE PRESUMED TO HATE], and yet they always seem to be miraculously unannihilated at the end. Sometimes you'll even see the same video clip used by dueling partisans, each claiming their guy destroyed the hated foe.
