Matty287
Hey everyone, 23 from North Yorkshire, been modelling on and off for about 12 years but new to the forum. For a long time I mostly did Airfix aircraft of varying scales, but now do a lot of Tamiya 1:35 armour and have started on ships. On that just a quick question; has anyone used Eduard photo-etch (specifically for Tamiya's 1:350 Prince of Wales, Tamiya do a set but it's about £150!!) and what would people say about them? The three sets for the ship I've mentioned come to more than the kit, is it worth it for the extra detail or is it better to just stick to out of the box?
Corsairfoxfouruncle
Hello Matty287 First off I’ll start by say welcome to Britmodeller from America. Second You would get more answers to your question if you moved your question down to the ships category in the interwar or WW2 groups. Hope that helps Dennis
Steve86
Hello and welcome along, as for your question I can’t comment on the photo etch in question. But PE does add something to a model , but at a cost which only you can diecide if it’s worth it.
