To be honest it's kind of an art for the art's sake, most of it will be bearly visible. I will put the crew all aroud the ship in time, but puting them inside would be a waste. There will be some lads in them opened hatches on the side though. But I'm glad I got you interested ;)

Always intrested , i am in the same position putting passageways in to show some depth behind open doors, lol the plans i have for my build keep me awake at night

That is a way for finding imperfections Steve ;) As for detailing i have  very nice book about French battleships

plus some nice original plans of Danton. French archives shared them for free at some stage about 10 years ago and then changed their minds and started charging for them. I was lucky enough to get them for free ;) If you want them PM me with e-mail address.

Time for update. That's not exactly Black Pearl, but it's definitely black ;)

240 mm gun barbettes and sponsons are two separate parts.... why I don't really know, but I managed to make it seamless

Tapes off, generally turned out OK, little bits to correct here and there, but nothing serious.
