Popular Post mathy
Here my new Model: Mengs`cement-free P-51D Mustang. A nice kit with only minor issues, the bigges one is the canopy in open position wich is not close enought to the fuselage. Add some Eduard PE parts and used the Cartograf decals OOB. Hope you like the result
Gorby
No No No, surely this isn't a model. The photos with the tree in the background - I would have been utterly convinced were the real thing. I think I need to add some exclamation marks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zigomar
Very nicely done but I thought that the P-51 wings were puttied and shown no rivets at all?
Corsairfoxfouruncle
This i believe is one of these so called “Drop the Microphone !” Moments ... that is one great looking Mustang. I think im going to have to get one of those Meng kits.
polo1112
This is a great Mustang ! But please excuse my dumb question: how can a model like this one be built without cement ? Congratulations for the beautiful result. Polo.
mathy
To be sure I used some cement but on most sections it is really not necessary

Duncan B
Beautiful, I can not understand why I haven't seen more of these built. I have looked in the box and it is a superbly engineered kit so can only think that the 'snap' bit puts people off. Well that will change when people see how well your one has turned out. Spitfire31
Beautiful Mustang and ample evidence that cement is overrated… ;-) My only reservation regarding the superb finish and weathering is, as usual, the fact that a Mustang's wing was thoroughly puttied, sanded down and painted with silver dope – all to let the laminar flow airfoil do its work uninterrupted. So, the fancy NMF wing panelling work is, er, a fancy… Superior modelling skills in evidence! Kind regards, Joachim
