stevehnz Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 Brilliant Grant, shame about the poor old AN-2 floaty mcfloatplane though, it sure needs someone to love it. Steve.
nuuumannn Posted October 11, 2017 Author Posted October 11, 2017 (edited) Hi Steve, there's a number of them on the far side of the airfield, as well as a large number of other crates sitting about in various states of disrepair. I was urged to take a look in the aircraft dump and on my first visit I got in there, the fence was open, but on the second visit, it had been closed, so lucky I went the first time. I did return to the hotel with half a field in each boot though. Can ya tell wat it is yet? Edited October 11, 2017 by nuuumannn
stevehnz Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 (edited) Something that started as a Nanchang? Movie stars, masquerading as F-84s? here & here & here Steve. Edited October 11, 2017 by stevehnz
nuuumannn Posted October 11, 2017 Author Posted October 11, 2017 The question was rhetorical, but yeah, pretty much; I've read it was meant to be an F-84 for a movie. It makes more sense when viewed from the front. 2
