And tonight's work is a few very very weathered gundam parts and i have made a start on sculpting some sponge to make smoke effects to give the explosion on the tank a bit move movement. The fence looks ok for scale next to these parts i think.

Just painted the tank as well. I was a bit braver with the colour modulation on the tank and i think its ok but i still need more practice at it.

Gimme Shelter
Boom - I'll better that, or as Neil on the Young Ones would say "Boomshanker" !! Looks bril - love the erupting turret That £1 epoxy resin glue is a steal of a deal - I spent a small fortune on the Gorilla alternative which looks pretty much exactly the same and has a photo of my ex-mother in law on it.

rockpopandchips
So not having the best weekend modeling. Made up the resin to poor in the pond today and it started out ok, this is what it looked like after about 2 mins. But then after anout 10mins and now it looks like this. Not much like water or pond water, if it stays like this after a few days i will paint over in some clear blue/smoke/green to give it more of a toxic dump and make a few barrels. Not what i wanted but you have to role with these things.
Will Vale
I think it looks OK, but if you want to change it you could repaint the surface and apply a very thin layer of the epoxy (or just gloss varnish, or acrylic medium) over the top? Not sure what caused the bubbles, but it can help to warm the stuff beforehand to get it nice and runny. The project as a whole is going great, I like the broken bits and the exploding tank has loads of animation Will
