Dermo245
I know...I know, a Star Wars 'Build and Play' kit. While I save some modelling funds for Bandai's lovely Millennium Falcon in 1/144, thought I would have some fun with this one which I got on the very cheap in Lidl some months back. Sure, it's not the most accurate kit and most of the details are simplified for kids but the general shape is ok and hope it will look a little better with some improvements. Gimme Shelter
wow - that is a major journey you have ahead of yourself if you aim to bring this kit back on track from the kids version - wishing you the best of luck there - I don't think I would have the will power to do the same
Dermo245
So with Star Wars fever gripping the house (well, me and the boys), time to get back on track with this. In the interests of time (and my sanity), I decided against doing a heap of work on the sidewalls - so just cut some plate 'notches' here and there and tried to thin them the best i could. Thom216
Very nice turn around for that toy, into something a little more respectable.
