What for?? It's correct and very fine reproduction

Personal preference, I just don't like raised rivet detail. Probably comes from having grown up and started out in the hobby in the 1960s and 1970s, when everything was covered in massive raised rivets. I actually don't even like the current trend towards recessed rivet detail.....though I suspect I'm in a minority on that one!

I wouldn't think so. I know no one (irl) who likes these surfaces covered in holes. But the very vocal and (sometimes) aggressive way the people who like these way of surface detail rendering 'defend' this approach annoys them to a way that they don't engage in discussions about what topic anymore.

In the end it comes to what people buy. I have stopped buying this kind of kits even if the type interets me very much. There are so much great kits out there.

Personal preference.

Zvesda's Mitten is looking very good to me. Will be a nice addition to my stash. And hopefully to my built collection some time 😇

Interesting news :

1.

The decal sheet of this Zvezda Yak-130 kit is from Begemot of Russia.

I also received confirmation that Begemot is preparing a mega 1/48 decal sheet like their current 1/72 decal sheet (illustrated below),

to cover all possible variations of markings and color schemes of the Yak-130 including the Red & White Demontrator.

2.

‘’BBC РОССИИ’’ and ‘’ВКС РОССИИ’’ inscriptions explanations :

VVS (BBC) / Voyenno-Vozdushniye Sily or Military Air Forces came out of the Soviet era 1918-1991 when air forces were separated from

anti-aircraft forces and military space forces.

Following numerous reorganizations and unifications between 1991-2014 and from 1st August 2015, they became from a special decrees

VKS (BKC) / Vozdushno-Kosmicheskiye Sily or Aero-Spatial Forces. Now all the forces of the DCA and control of objectives in the Space / Air

is under the unified command.

The new tricolor stars with an additional blue border were introduced from 2010.

The ВКС РОССИИ derivative inscriptions began to be introduced in May 2018. And the ‘’Bot’’ numbers edges has become more simplistic,

including wider digits.

Thanks to AlexGRD of Russia for these explanations.

Yes, its marketing proposition from Russia:

E̶a̶c̶h̶ ̶c̶u̶s̶t̶o̶m̶e̶r̶ ̶c̶a̶n̶ ̶r̶e̶c̶e̶i̶v̶e̶ ̶"̶F̶o̶r̶d̶ ̶T̶"̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶a̶n̶y̶ ̶c̶o̶l̶o̶r̶ ̶p̶r̶o̶v̶i̶d̶e̶d̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶c̶o̶l̶o̶r̶ ̶w̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶b̶e̶ ̶b̶l̶a̶c̶k̶  , sorry: buy Zvezda model and get big Begemot decals for free, its anyway insidie!

And later we will release enlarged aftermarket decal  - since release 1\72 decal added new type of board number for Yak-130s, and also don't forgetr about demo-aircrafts.

These are two sets for one model. This is the Yak-130 by Zvezda, on a scale of 1/48. It will be available in two options.

In the second, expanded version of the set, added detailing for ejection seats, and a detonation cord.

To the traditional texture of the belts added the texture of the seat's cover, as well as the imitation of folds on the suspension system. Well, and the detonation cord, this is our first experience.

Those who used our kits have also noticed that some elements (belts, levers and arms, catapult brackets) are painted on both sides.

Sorry but I already finish my yak-130, but it's a great add on for the Zvevda's kit. That could be fine to have the SU 35's cockpit, also the Tamiya and AMK's F-14 and, I'm sure it's on the way by Quinta.
