Hook
My LHS had a pair which I promptly snatched up. Decals are for two Soviet / Russian examples, two in camo and one in allover grey. Cheers, Andre Edited May 11, 2019 by Hook

FAIK the MiG-25 versions that were camouflaged, were the BM Wild Weasel: https://www.testpilot.ru/russia/mikoyan/mig/25/rbm/images/mig25bm2.jpg , and the MiG-25RBF: http://www.airliners.net/photo/Russia-Air-Force/Mikoyan-Gurevich-MiG-25RBSh/1023919/L https://www.16va.be/galeries_vvs/after_the_battle_ops/imgcol/imgcol_3/_00009.html AFAIK only the latter version could carry bombs, the BM being confined to the Kh-58 ARM's. oggy4u
Thanks guys . There are so many choices of Reconnaissance Foxbats ( which is a great thing ) that one could easily choose the wrong version .

There are so many choices of Reconnaissance Foxbats ( which is a great thing ) that one could easily choose the wrong version . Indeed - we're spoiled! Only a few years ago all you had were the ancient Hasegawa kit, plus some resin conversion nose jobs that would cost about as much as one of the current ICM kits and would still leave you high and dry for decals, external bombs racks and the differences in the wings and exhausts as compared to the fighter versions..! oggy4u
I don't see any bomb racks on the sprues nor bombs on the RBF version . I guess we have to supply our own . I have the old Dragon models Soviet aircraft armament kit .

The MBDZ-U2 racks and FAB-500M-62T bombs are included in the MiG-25RB boxing: https://www.scalemates.com/kits/icm-72173-mig-25rb--1123408 I have a couple of each (c'mon, it's a MiG-25!) so I can do some mixing & matching. Anders_Isaksson
Just to be sure, the only difference between the RBF compared to the RBT is the nose, right? The KFS review does seem to say so, if my translation is correct. I have an Eduard Zoom set and a set of QB air scoops labelled for the RBT but I assume they work on either version? The kit I have sitting on the bench is the RBF. True, there might be minor differences in the cockpit between the two versions, but they are both still recce versions. 🙂 Edited June 21, 2019 by Anders_Isaksson

Anders_Isaksson
I have just the other day finished up the RBF, and what an almost total pleasure this kit was to build. An article is set to come in AMW in the near future. Almost looking to do another variant, but then there are so many projects asking for attention...
