1/48 Gnat mystery part

Recommended Posts

Friend of mine has started building the Airfix 1/48 Gnat. He is very puzzled by one of the parts, no.1, which doesn't appear anywhere in the instructions. I have had a look at it myself, but it still remains a mystery to both of us. Any answer out there?

TIA

Hi - Sorry if I stole your thunder!!!!!!  But initially I thought you were serious and decided to check it out for myself...............I thought, "What a load of twoddle" then realized it was a wind up and as luck would have it - I chose to look at the "original explanation" could not resist posting explanation to such a complicated bit of machinery - possibly what you may have had in mind.  Once again, sorry, but wonderful explanation as to what the turbo encabulator really is

Not a problem. As Dr. Orth (discoverer of the Orth Effect) was frequently fond of saying, "A YouTube video is worth a thousand words." :-)
