That old CMK kits have huge resin plug and are so fragile !

And now... Guess what ?? SANDING !!

Whatever the CMK kit is a great improvement beside the Hasegawa parts.

The Val will enter in my Pearl Harbor serie !

The Tony will stand beside my John Blackburn's Corsair.

Good Deal !

Have a nice modelling day.

Sincerely.

Hello Dears,

Again, My wife see me as a mad man.

I asked her not to throw away the sealant of her Tobacco boxes, Look

40539126542_a2afdd1028_b.jpg

That will be great to mimic the bulkhead of U.S helicopter ! Can be flatened where it is needed, I will try this !

Back to the Val, first stage to have an aotake interior.

40539126602_1fa7c87dbe_b.jpg

I will now let it dry thoroughly and then a blue filter !

Thank for popping in !

Sincerely.

Hello Dears,

Painting and working on these internals….

Must say that's a changing from the interior green :drunk:

WP_20180808_00_18_34_Pro

I will reproduce the Val of the Cpt Ema, since I think that an Ame Iro aircraft will be a must in a collection !!

This one will go on my Pearl Harbor serie.

More to come soon...

Thanks for popping in !

Have a very good modelling time !

Sincerely.

Looks good. I'm up to the painting stage of my Val. I have had a problem with mine. Either I have a warped fuselage or it is builder error. My tail planes are not square with the wings. I also had problems fitting them because the holes were too small for the pins to fit into. So be careful how you get the fuselage together and check the tail planes fit.

I'll just squeeze into the front row and hope that Ian doesn't want his seat back.

My wife has got so used to me collecting her unwanted items, that she  offers me things which she thinks I might find useful.

I like the Aotake, I still have a pot of the Modelmaster version.

I just noticed your Val is Revell. Hence the different colour plastic. Mine was Hasegawa , so it might be different. My tail planes were attached with two pins instead of the usual slot method.

I'm pleased to hear my comments were still relevant. I got my kit years go when I was still in Queensland. Frankly I think my problem was self inflicted. Other than the elevator problem which was definitely a kit issue.

Hello Dears

Lever time !!

These tiny little things are animated by their own life !!

Intended to put the modeller in a swearing misery, only 2 are lost to the "vacuum cleaner" pug…

Yes, I saw it on the video and it’s looks very useful and easy to use, too. Unfortunately, I don’t know where to find it in Russia.

Cheers! 😎

Hello Dears,

Sometimes, when I open my cabinet of curiosities and assorted lame ducks, I take a box...

And restart on a waiting kit, My started kits are very patient, far more patient than SWMBO, and the kids, and the dogs and even the cats...

Here's the @TheBaron, sorry Tony's dashboard...

I use crystal clear to glue the film on the PE part, and Dang !! The bezels glasses are on...

2 birds with one stone !

IMG_20200209_230821

I saw this in the National tattler...

Look the way the martian is doing to get out unnoticed...

Ah that tricky Martian...

Well, see you later !!

Sincerely.
