Recommended Posts

This is my Fujimi 1/72 Mig-29, painted the digital camo pattern using Tamiya tape and Hataka acrylics.

You sir are a madman... I can't even fathom how long you spent masking all that up.

Absolutely stunning work on the camo!

I've got to ask though, what markings is it painted in? I don't recognize the air force?

A masking marathon.  You are a better man than I am, Gunga Din.  I think I would have lost the will to live very early on with a project like this.  Amazing work.  Great photography too.  Hitherto I hadn't known that the Philippine Air Force used MiG-29s.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Believe me, I just used half a mile of Tamiya tape.

I was supposed to do the Slovakian camouflage pattern but my creative side took over and the markings is a ''what-if'' for Philiippine Airforce which I printed on clear decal paper.

I know that Fujimi's Fulcrum has many inaccuracies but I'm more in to the camouflage pattern, not on the accuracy of the model and it serve as a test bed for future digital camo models.

Here is the masking stage of the model.

Nice work! Was the Hataka paint any good to work with?
