Radpoe Spitfire
The members of the South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum and volunteers from the VTTS are restoring the cockpit of this aircraft. The Vulcan was named "MAYFLOWER III" to deliver a special scrol to the states to celebrate the tricentenary of pilgrim fathers voyage. There is a dedicated thread on Facebook which is showing progress is going well. So far the museum has spent around £6000, but they need help with sourcing parts and want to raise £3,500 donations to help complete the project. If anyone can help with leads for parts or wish to make a donation please contact them on 01302 761616 or there is a just giving page set up via the Facebook thread.
