Salut Patrice,

I only have two 1/72 P-40s in the stash: Airfix and Academy... More than enough.

So could you please count me in?

Looking forward to build a P-40! Haven't done that since I was a young teenager!

Cheers

JR

Hello Jean

Welcome aboard ..

All the best

I've given this STGB some thought, I was torn between a Tomahawk or a Kittyhawk, I have the Airfix P-40B/C in both 1/72nd and 1/48th in the stash as well as all of the releases of Special Hobby's recent Kittyhawk series however, driving to work the other day I was reminded of this piece of local history and legend....

So my subject will be the "Spitfire" of Winchester's Spitfire Bridge fame aka Tomahawk AH851 SP-F of 404Sqn RCAF based at RAF Odiham in 1941.

Now, I need to decide whether I do it in 1/72nd or 1/48th...:hmmm:

Hi All (GB Mods)

This GB is a little over a month away, and I've signed up for it,

the question have is this:

I have this kit that has been on the SOD (Shelf of Doom...) for some time now,

and was wondering if this would fit the 25% rule (only this much has been done

for the kit, wing etc all still undone)?  - Reason I ask is, that if it fits, I can fully complete

in the GB instead of starting/buying a new kit

I would finish it as NZ3008 (HQ-B) Umslopogaas

Good morning Alan

I think that we can say your build is under 25 % so you will be able to finish it for this GB ..

Havent taken part in a group build for ages. Havent built a plane for ages either. I have Hasegawa P40E's in 1/48 and 1/32. Not sure which to build though.

Hi, would love to participate in this. Think the picture on the left says it all. I have dug deep in the stash of P-40 goodness from 1/72 to 1/24 and have, after much pondering decided on the Vintage Fighter Series P-40B plus a bit of resin, decals and other bits and bobs. It has a fair bit wrong with it out of the box but I am willing to mash the plastic and give it a go. I am planning on doing a RAF Desert Air Force scheme, I need to get my Mojo back and this could be it. Last year I bought kits but work got in the way massively.

So, please if possible count me in. Would love to participate in this.

Thanks Patrice,

I am going to start rummaging for all the bits and bobs I got for it years ago. The build is on!

Kind Regards

Way over committed with GB builds at the moment  Patrice but  hope to slip in a couple of  1/72 late series p40's before the GB's end.

Patrice you best find Enzo and get him to pin this chat thread to the top. For some reasons Host can't do this, else this thread gets lost as other builds are added.

I'm trying to resist the urge to build, I'm really looking forward to this one!

Hi folk's,I have "Airfix'd" out on P-40's I've done five 1/72 and three 1/48 so as I'm in the middle of a 1/72 building year I was trawling

around the interweb and picked up three Hobbyboss easy kits for the grand total of £13,the  Mk B an E and an M all you'll be pleased to know

with a vicious set of teeth in their schemes,as there's the "easy kit" theme can I do one thread for the set?

Dam it guys. I have tried real hard for the last hour to resist this GB, but I'm weak.  Can I join with my 1/48 Hasegawa P40 N Gloria?

Looks like I will have to pull out of the Film GB if I do this.

Hello Greg

Of course you can join but maybe you can find time for these 2 Gbs ?

All the best
