noelbarnes
Here's another RAAF Hawk I built a little while back. It is the Kinetic 1/32 kit made into a 79Sqd bird I photographed at the RAAF Base Pearce Airshow a few years back. I used Ryan Hamilton's resin set and decals plus homemade decals I needed for various areas including the pilot's name under the cockpit. A very nice kit...would love to build another one.

Not sure why they did that, but it caught my attention and was keen to model it.

They don't have to worry about it now with the new scheme having each SQNs markings on opposite sides of the fin/rudder.

zebra
Great work Noel. If it was the 2012 Pearce show, I was there - this prompted me to look up my photos from the show, sure enough I've got a shot of this Hawk with the 76 Sqn rudder. Never noticed it at the time.
