Uncle Dick Posted June 6, 2018 Share Posted June 6, 2018 So some news on the missing parts from Hobby Link Japan - they have started shipping these out to the unlucky sods like me that received the dud kits, lets hope they are the correct sprues and that they do not arrive smashed to pieces ... Imagine quite a few unlucky people will not know about the issue and these dud kits will continue to cause headaches for modellers in years to come for those that are sold on evil bay and second hand many years down track...which is a pity as they are not cheap kits by any means 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

For any of the tomcat nuts out there, can I make an early A with this kit? I hoped to build an A with the Ghost Riders squadron, but I don't know if its enough to just cut off the AoA probe as I don't see a separate probe for it. nvm, I found the piece on Sprue L. zerosystem Posted June 16, 2018 Share Posted June 16, 2018 Replacement parts arrived from HLJ without any issue here to the States. Now what to do about the extra sprues, I dropped Fine Molds an email asking about getting extra sprues and they quoted me approximately 5000 yen for getting enough sprues to use the doubles in the original kit. That's more than I paid for the first kit. I wonder if there's anyone out there who got a double set of our missing parts that might sell...
