Float planes and a bear

The first 3 were taken in Vancouver harbour, the rest at Ketchikan in Alaska. That's my first use of Flickr so back to learning how to use it and hopefully being able to do multiple pictures in one go.

Lovely pics of lovely creature and planes! The first pic of C-FEBE is of special interest to me as it was the very first DHC Beaver I flew in from the same place back in 2002 when it belonged to Baxter Aviation!!  Nice to see it still going. I was in Vancouver first week of September last year and spent some time watching and taking pics of all the DHC family operating and getting a flight in C-FWAC ( the second one from the front in the nose to tail line up, with the number 19 on wing leading edge indicating fleet number 219)that was also an ex Baxter aeroplane.

 

The Sesquicentennial Otter is smart. Nice pics of it on dhc-2.com..

 

But I do love that bear pic though!
