Second one in that colour that I've seen locally recently - I know this was a different one as it was a two door as opposed to the four door I saw first. Both looked in stunning condition though! Trevor That reminds me - at weekend I saw an early P1800 with the cowhorn bumpers . It was immaculate in gunmetal grey & running on chrome wires , which really suited it . Real Porsches don't have names, they have numbers starting with 9. Or 3, if it's very, very old. But 9 is best, and it has to have an aircooled engine in the back, turbocharger is optional. I remember a competition in Classic & Sportscar magazine to win an Aston Martin DB6 Mk2 Volante . It was reckoned to be worth £30K , which was pricey but not outrageous . I know someone who let’s say will never be destitute who used to buy classic cars as a hobby back in the 80’s and export them to he USA. He literally had a barn full of classic cars. With it's extra wing mounted side lights I imagine it's a US import that has been converted to RHD. A D reg BMC FF dropside truck in the livery of a local haulier. It looked a very tidy. Also an S reg 1978 Mercedes van kitted out and in the markings of a German fire brigade this appears to be a daily driver as I see it all over the place. Killingholme Posted April 28, 2018 Share Posted April 28, 2018 Now here's a coincidence, having spotted a '59 Caddy earlier in the week, today I saw a '50-53 (can't be more specific) Cadillac convertible on a rain-soaked A14 in Cambridgeshire. Powder blue with a black fabric roof. I was driving a 2017 MINI, so assumed when I drew up behind the Caddy at a roundabout I should move across to the fast lane to go past him. I didn't want to get stuck behind a nearly 70 year old classic car afterall... No such luck! Once we both left the roundabout the Caddy quite easily matched my acceleration from 30mph-70mph.
