To be fitted in around GP qualifying & finished before I start on the Truck 2mrw. Hockeyboy76 Posted August 26, 2017 Author Share Posted August 26, 2017 Thanks guys. @SleeperService They are on sale at emodels £3ish. 30 mins in, cockpit sides & seat painted, going for an inflight build so u/c doors fitted up. There are no decals for walk ways on wings and black strips on underside tank so these will need to be painted. Kit has really good u/c and detail on fuse & wings, but front u/c bay is none existent and raised panel lines on back wings. A nice seat but no cockpit detail, to be honest I have seen better detail in Revell 1/144 kits, but for ease of build & a 24 hr kit it will do. Lunch. Bovril & marmalade on toast. First time I've been on this GB otherwise I'd have warned you about the amount of time consuming filling required. The Matt black is still tacky, so that's it for today, switching this to the two 12 hr stints. Have already completed a Lancaster with little H so that's one superhero build.
