Gannet ripple and relaxxxx

That looks fantastic Bill, a lot of hard work involved as we all can see.

One thing that really stands out is the full depth engine inlets.

Well done:clap::clap:

..oh the nose wheels, as mentioned earlier due to poor low speed differential brake authority the Gannet had to steered on deck by a steering arm and two jolly jack tars.

To enable this the two nose wheels have to be able to freely rotate independently of each other for ground handling, however for take-off and landing you really want the two wheels locked together to prevent shimmy or a turn occurring, for this reason the stb'd nose wheel has a centrifugal clutch in it which locks the wheels together as speed increases in forward motion.  Absolutely vital that the two wheels don't get mixed up, hence the port n stb'd painted discs.

Gentlemen, thank you

Mojo has been reinstated, just in time for the end

This needs four things it does not yet have, any guesses?

Ah, and  the rad alt antenna straightening

Bill if you gently run a black marker pen along the wire aerial, it will take the brigthness off it...

Looks like she's on the go!!!

Well done Bill!!!

May be another couple of pictures from above and posssibly in daylight would show the base and the print on the left side. It would be interesting to see it a little better.

Now back to Buccaneering or...another subject?...may be ...a Sea Vixen? We may walk parallel paths again!!!

For now...Great build!!!You made me like Frog models!!!

Hi Massimo is this what you wanted?

P1140246.jpg

The quick display base - and its message, not much really but it did make a decent show of it

P1140247.jpg

Anyway thank you all for your kind words, a few days at the seaside will see me back to play with the Buccs and yes, the Sea Vixen

Looking forwards to that
