Fujimi 1700 HMS Eagle

Recommended Posts

An older kit, but with using some PE sets, it can be spruced up to look presentable. The aircraft they give you never served together on the ship. The only ones you can use are the Gannets and Wessexes, and they didn't serve at the same time. But, they add color and interest.

Good to see this famous Royal Navy carrier from Fujimi. Well constructed in a nice setting. Not to forget, that the paint job on the air group is outstanding.

In those days they were very clever, carriers included catapults.

By the sea trials of the HMS Queen Elizabeth it was sad to see, that  the USN FA-18F only could do a fly -by. I wander how happy the Admiralty is with this solution.

I hope that Trumpeter will bring out some of these classic carriers in 1/350 scale in the near future.

Regards, Orion / The Netherlands.
