Ratch
Time to move on to the other half of the HäT 8097 set - the Nassau Grenadiers DSC_0008 by Richard Linnell, on Flickr They need fusiliers and light troops to make up the 2nd Nassau-Usingen Light Infantry Regiment. For these I am using HäT set 8147. DSC_0007 by Richard Linnell, on Flickr I have swapped heads on one of the fusilier officers to make him a Senior Officer. Ratch
The family of King William I of the Netherlands also held the German state of Nassau, so Nassau's forces formed part of the Netherlands army. These forces comprised 8.5 battalions at Waterloo, and had a strength of over 5,000 men, or roughly 10% of the total Allied infantry (some sources suggest as many as 7,000 men). Each battalion had six companies, one of which was of grenadiers. DSC_0004 by Richard Linnell, on Flickr Just finished bar mounting

Ratch
Black first, yellow second. I usually paint inside out (things that go over are painted after what goes under) i.e. skin, boots, trousers, jacket, facings, belts, roll, pack, headwear, and finish with the base. 1
