As it's a CA kit you just know there is a lot of filler in there . This is also a test for using Flickr....so here goes. I did the very same scheme in the old Lindberg kit; I'll bet I can match you putty glob for putty glob! But seriously...truly lovely work. There's no mistaking its Grumman lineage and it lends itself well to FAA colours, which are beautifully applied I might add.
