PhantomBigStu
An aggressor that will break up the boring greys in the gallery, welcome aboard
FortyEighter
Another nice non-grey variant is F-15C "Blue 02" of the Oregon NG in desert aggressor livery (78-0502) which they took over from the 65th at Nellis.
Hewy
Lex the great wall kit looks incredibly detailed doesn't it, the missiles in the kit have to be seen to be believed as does the top of the fuselage, looking forward to bulding mine, Glynn

Hewy
Looking good, are you having a closed canopy lex? As beautifully detailed as it is theres a few fit issues with the cockpit sides on mine, how about yours, or is it just me Glynn
Lex77
Yes canopy will be closed Glynn. Didn't have any problems, they clicked into place.

Lex77
Got 2 days of work so had some time to work on the F-15. The fit on the canopy isn't great, and still has some work to do. Lex77
Thanks Glynn. Indeed it is the masking fluid.
Jabba
There has been some good work carried out on this build especially in the cockpit. Good to see it come together as quickly as it has.
Lex77
Thanks Jabba, it builds really well. Some filler but nothing serious. Hoping to join the Mirage GB after this one.

Hewy
Looking good so far Lex,, are you going gear up, I'm asking because the instructions don't mention any weight in the nose and I'm unsure, when you balance it on your finger at the rear landing gear point it tips forward, but i haven't got the engines and nozzles on or the tail parts fitted yet wich will all add weight at the rear, Any help will be appreciated
Lex77
Hi Glynn, no I'm doing one with the gear down. I haven't done any weight in it so hope it will stay on its front landing gear. Did some airbrushing tonight; 20170821_211204 by Lex de Kort, on Flickr
Hewy
Very promising lex, cheers, I'll leVe the nose cone off as long as possible Glynn
Lex77
It would fit better in the spray booth if the nose was off ;-) That it a good thing to do, you can always put some weight in it. The fit wasn't perfect so I think it will need some fitting.
