I'd rather hear that your boy has stopped puking. Beard
It's a quiet afternoon here, I risked life and limb on very icy pavements to pop out earlier to get momo and soup. This afternoon has been spent watching the snow fall, putting matt coats on the VBs, giving the XIX another coat of PRU Blue, painting another coat of Ocean Grey on the 24, knocking a pot of Ocean Grey over and, drinking these: Â (The last two incidents are NOT related.) Â Keep them votes coming folks, the 103 MU Spitfire VI is in the lead at the moment.

I vote # 12 It's not too late (I hadn't mentioned but the winner won't be started until the week after next, at the earliest, because I'm going to be on a training course in Birmingham next week). Â As I appear to be snowed-in (and slightly worse for wear (I'll be hitting the gin, after some Chilean Malbec and Tokai, in a while)), I've finished the VBs... Â (They might need another coat of varnish and/ or a rub-down.) Â and almost finished the painting of the XIX's top sides (the underside have had a first coat of PRU Blue): Â Meanwhile, the 24 is waiting for the Ocean Grey to dry before getting a coat of Dark Green. Â There will, probably, be no more done today; instead, I'll be listening to some of this: Â Thanks for looking.

I pinched the poster paint idea from Tony O'T and it's just a tray bought from Wilco for a quid.   I'm not sure if I'll ever use the greens, pink or purple but the blue, brown and white come in useful for weathering exhausts, exhaust stains and general grubiness.  I have got a bottle of ready-made black but using the poster allows you you make it as think (or thin) as you want.  Tony, the KP kit is lovely (although, in my opinion, the decals leave something to be desired). Hi ,you can get some Acrylic paint in tubes from the pound shop ,also oil paint in tubes . 1
