100SQN
Hi, I was surprised to see the Tamiya 1/48 Sea Harrier in a local shop the other day priced at £12. Is this a good deal or am I missing something here ? For a Tamiya 1/48 kit I would expect to pay twice that. Cheers, Simon
Martian
It is probably a fair price as this is a very old kit from Tamiya. With a bit of filling and re-scribing it will look OK but if you want a really good Sea Harrier in this scale, I would plump for the recent Kinetic offering. goose
It's not Tamiya at their finest imho
Don McIntyre
The kit was first released as a GR.1 back sometime in the 70s. Then Tamiya basically did a minimum-change conversion of the kit. It does look like a Sea Harrier when you're finished. You're much better off, if you can afford it, getting the Kinetic kit.
