madcat911
Here's my rendition of the Hobby Boss Flanker kit. Built generally OOB except for the seat which came from Wolfpack-Designs. Painted with Gunze lacquers and weathered with enamels and oils. Decals from Begemot. Hope you enjoy the photos! madcat911
Thanks for the kind words everyone! 7 hours ago, Oscar said: Brilliant! Absolutely stunning Flanker. Dear MadCat, could you share more details on the paints (shades/codes/numbers) used? The 3 colours used for the camouflage were all custom mixed Gunze Mr Color paints. I cannot recall the exact paints and ratios used but I do recall starting with 117 RLM78 Light Blue for the lighter blue, 74 Air Superiority Blue for the darker blue and 334 Barley Grey BS4800/18B21 for the light grey. These were mixed with whites, blues and greens to get the approximate shade when referenced to photographs found on the Internet. Hope this helps!
