Roman Schilhart
Dear fellow Britmodellers, here's my latest build, Eduard's Fw-190 F8 from the "Profipack" edition. I added Master metal gun barrels, decals from the box, representing an aircraft of Stab/Schlachtgeschwader 10. Elements of SG10 saw action during the closing weeks of the war in Eastern Austria. This particular aircraft had a monochrome camoflage (most likely Dark Green) applied in the field. An orginal photograph (that leaves many questions unanswered) is here: https://www.asisbiz.com/il2/Fw-190A/SG10/pages/Focke-Wulf-Fw-190F8-Stab-III.SG10-Green-(K+-Czechoslovakia-1945-01.html I painted with Gunze/Mr.Hobby acrylics, weathering with artist's olis and chalk pastels. Photographs by Wolfgang Rabel. Greetings from Vienna!

neil5208
Impressive work, like the plain green scheme. How did you find the kit, I'm tempted to get one.

Amazing details, great engineering, but - not for the novice. Tolerances are almost zero. I had some trouble on the first example I've built, manily with the cockpit section, which seems a little oversized. Once you know its little ways (and reduce the width of cockpit floor/dashboard) it's a joy to build. Greetings from Vienna!
wayne 0
Very nice work Roman. Love the brake lines. Good to know that the cockpit area needs a little narrowing. Another kit I build a few of, suffers a similar problem. The Royal Class boxing is now high on the "must have" list. Great build !

Luis Alfonso
Hi Roman!!! <Congratulations for this nice Bird you are presenting here!!! I am not a true fan of the FW 190, BUT have many of them in the stash trying to find an easy (for me) paint scheme to build something, and this nice bird fit in my thought. I have been impressed how the kit ends at all without flaws and troubles, and how nice look in this nearly one colour paint scheme, that seem easy but doesn't lose the nice looking of this wonderful machine. As you know, I have some kits of this bird in the stash and for sure when I will start to build one I will tell you and ask for some advices and for some ONE COLOUR or easy paint schemes as have been afraid with the multi tone schemes those birds usually wear. Thank you very much for sharing!!! Cheers, Luis Alfonso
109 fan
Beautiful work, Roman! I love late war 190s and this a great example of what can be done in 1/72. Barry Numerick
Fuad
It was very good, Roman. I really liked this rare camouflage. The elaboration of detail also came out very well. Bravo! With Best Regards, Fuad Pashayev
