Romeo Alpha Yankee
I have a bagged copy of this kit and was also thinking about building it for the GB. We will see how I go with the other builds I have planned. Were you going with the kit scheme?
Wez
Cool! Saw a couple of these recently - impressive beasties! Welcome to the GB!
PhantomBigStu
Well had a pretty crappy week, vulcan turned into a ground hog day model, some issues with my airbus in terms of glue sinkage, and some other stuff not worth mentioning. But here we go
PhantomBigStu
Laid aside for two weeks but now a little work has been done, still got to fix the massive issue with the centre seem
Wez
That long seam could really have done with a strip of plasticard backing it from the inside, it would've taken some of the flexing out of the joint (always a worry on a long seam). You seem to have come a long way, got any more WIP shots?
PhantomBigStu
I seem to have not taken anyway aside from this of the pit
Romeo Alpha Yankee
So what is the issue, Stu? I see a little bit of a seam that can be tended to with a bit of sanding/filing?

PhantomBigStu
cheers wez, it arrived and ready to go, now just to get a fresh pot of grey paint to mix the blue for the camo Edited September 28, 2017 by PhantomBigStu
PhantomBigStu
Underway, and mixed some blue paint, suspect I'll continue tweaking it once it's on the model, simple build with just a little filler for the wing roots and intakes, plus the nose gear bay.
