John Aero
For a Lebanese, Syrian or Jordanian Proctors off the top of my head, as these were all post-war, I'm sure they were Mk. IVs. I'll check later. John

k5054nz
And as mentioned elsewhere, the photograph for 48005 is a Gull Six not a Vega Gull. Otherwise I'm very excited!

Paul J
Loving the progress on these. But no military ones for me. Just nice classic Civvy ones of the 1930s onwards please...

Vulcanicity
Just belatedly seen the Coastal white Vega Gull photo. Many thanks to Dave Fleming for dredging that up. It's certainly different! Just imagining the instructions accompanying "Why not convert your FROG Proctor IV into a Vega Gull?". I'd suggest: 1. Take Proctor kit. Throw away. 2. Whittle Vega Gull from balsa. Not the easiest conversion, narrowing and lowering the whole cabin!
dora
Hello everybody. Who can say what colors are used on the tail of Percival? Thank you.
fightersweep
I'm thinking red and yellow like 607 squadron... The photo above was taken at Croydon, and 607 were also based at Croydon at certain times. Just thinking out loud. PhoenixII
Yup Steve, the abbacus needs calibrating, 'cos it thinks its a till!! Know you meant 604 Squadron, because you said Red and Yellow, 'cos 607 was County of Durham and their colours were Pink and Yellow The following is from the Squadron Association:- "......Percival Proctor III was aquired registered G-ALOK (formerly RAF LZ589) appeared as the mount of the County Of Middlesex squadron flying group" Answer Mr. Dora Wings is, upper colour of tail band Yellow, lower colour is Red.
Graham Boak
607 were not Pink and Yellow, nor Red and Yellow. They were Mauve and Gold. Which I suspect may often mean Purple and Yellow, but never Red, let alone Pink! AFAIK their only link with Croydon (at any time?) was using it as a staging post on their way to France in 1939. There is at least one photo of their Gladiators there. Otherwise however a superb posting and a welcome identification.

fightersweep
Sorry chaps! I meant 604! Accute finger to keyboard trouble! They weren't at Croydon though. Edited March 17, 2018 by fightersweep

Hello A Proctor family would be welcomed by me. As for the IV (and post war V) I’m not sure on length, but the fuselage at the cockpit was noticeably deeper than the I to III.
