szeregowy Posted May 2 Posted May 2 I think it would be worth to mention the latest update regarding free account on Flickr Quote We’re rolling out a service update to Flickr’s download options for free accounts, and we want you to know what to expect. Starting May 15, Flickr will restrict downloads of original and large-size images (larger than 1024px) owned by free accounts. If you use a free account, this update applies to both your own content and to content shared by other free members. Why the change? We’re addressing the misuse of free accounts as cloud storage for original files—a practice that violates our Terms of Service and negatively impacts the performance and experience for Pro members. By limiting access to original and large-size downloads from free accounts, we can help preserve the integrity of the platform and continue delivering high-quality service to our Pro community. https://blog.flickr.net/en/2025/04/15/service-update-original-large-size-download-limitations-on-free-accounts/ 1
Gruntpa Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Not surprising seeing as they will do what ever they can to corral, cajole, encourage, convince, goad, prompt everyone to buy their Pro package. 💰💰💰 1

Back in the Saddle Posted June 4 Posted June 4 I’m having the same issue. Older pictures are showing but I cannot embed any new images from Flickr… 1
The Spadgent Posted June 4 Posted June 4 Hmmm any mods out there? It was working yesterday. @CedB has said the bb code link works from a laptop.
Farmer matt Posted June 4 Posted June 4 (edited) I think it is a flickr thing. The whole lot was down earlier. Ha it seems to be working now @The Spadgent @Back in the Saddle Matt Matt Edited June 4 by Farmer matt Works now 1
dogsbody Posted June 4 Posted June 4 My Flickr seems to be working. I do have a paid account because I have over 3000 pictures stored there. I've been using Flickr ever since Photobucket went sideways. Chris 1
