(ex)Sgtrafman Posted June 28, 2017 Share Posted June 28, 2017 Hi everyone I've decided to restart my Hawker Typhoon. I started it a couple of years ago and I don't know why I put it to one side? It will be built with a few panels removed to get some natural light into that lovely cockpit so I'll have to add some extra detail in the shape of wire, plastic rod and plasticard.... Al Hey Al No the instrument decals are from the Airscale set, if you can get them they really do enhance the look of the ip. The whole assembly is a bit of a monster and it's going to take Penn & Teller to get it in my spray booth, how did you paint yours? Also, love the ageing, what's your colour tainting the aluminium? I assembled as much as I could, put plenty of kitchen roll down and sprayed it with a base coat of black followed by mitheral silver which was followed by an oil wash of raw umber.
