dmachado
So I started with a bunch of objects that escaped the recycling bin, and ended up with this 1:35 fast steampunk one-manned vehicle: Build thread here: Regards.

dmachado
Steampunk is all about brass, gold and brown, to me. I will try the black, silver and steel approach next time, thanks for your comment.

rockpopandchips
A very original looking craft and I like it, there is a great feeling about putting a load of junk together to make a great looking sci-fi model, I have only done 1 myself (so far) but I have plans for lots more, in fact i have the tops of 2 squirty cleaning bottles on my desk that look just like intake cowling to me, now were did I put the garden hose connectors (AKA jet engines)? Great work let see some more.....
dmachado
I am seriously considering a bunch of computer mice and a couple of keyboards at 1€ each... just for parts! I see parts everywhere now... "oooh, look at that plastic cup..." Thanks for your comment!

Dieselpunk is a cool look as well though and this is normally more black and silver.
Gimme Shelter
amazingly creative modelling - a real credit to your abilities - I love the design you have imagined up from what we can so easily overlook when discarding quite superb John
dmachado
Thanks for all the great feedback! This is uncharted territory for me and I guess for a lot of modellers, as is kitbashing, which is another area I plan to try out!
