I made a bunch of tabs along the wing joins.  And built the outer wing to the lower wing inboard section.  Then added the upper inboard section of the wing with the gap against the fuselage.  It's easier to fill that gap than the gap between the wing sections...

Obviously, I did'nt forget my magnificent lady...

Sanding is almost right here too, so I worked on the engine !

Nice to see this underway again. I must get mine out again when life lets me get a bit of bench time. Having to keep rushing up to Oxford over the last ten days is beginning to cramp my style.

I replaced the air intake trumpet thingies with a piece of plastic tube shaft from a cotton bud.  I dipped the end of the tube in boiling water then pushed and wiggled a large diameter scriber in to flare out the size required.  I think it offered a large improvement over the solid kit version..

Well at least you know that it was not your mistake! I would have thought that a little bit of filing and card would sort that out.... but then I do not have that on my desk at the moment....
