Phill318
Long time lurker on here so I thought I'd post up some of my recent builds. Here is my 1/24 Typhoon that I recently finished. Whilst it was a marathon build, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Additions are the Airscale instrument decals, HGW harness, Master Models rockets, Eduard wheels and cannons. All markings were painted using Montex Masks. This was the first time I had used them but I've got to say I'm converted! Hope you like. FZ6
The Airfix Typhoon in the scale has wow factor and you've done a great job with it. Just out of interest, who's figures are you using to represent the ground crew? thanks for sharing, Mark
Phill318
Cheers Mark, I've got the 1/24 Tamiya rally pit crew as my ground crew. They're pretty much the closest you can get to WW2 RAF overalls in 1/24 but will probably need a little fettling and putty to remould certain features. Vinnie
Very nice. I'm impressed with the engine and gun pit detail. In this scale, I can also read the stencil markings. Sometimes not sure if I've got them upside down on my 1 72 builds.
Sabrejet
Love those invasion stripes: you are one of the few who understand how they were applied - and rarely (in real life) with anything but a paint brush and not much time. And the rest is pretty cool too.

Nickthebrief
Hey! I recognise that Tiffie! And it looks every bit as good on here as it does "in the flesh". That shield in the background of one of the shots also looks very impressive - whose name is on it for this year? Clearly a highly talented modeller...!!! One of these days you can show me how to post photos onto this site and I can finally prove that I also build the odd thing. Nick.
