Jinxman
Lovely set of shots, and the light on the T-6 is wonderful. A little bit jealous as I have never seen the Edwardians display in all the times I have been to Old Warden..
John R
Regarding the T-6, I was lurking opposite the mid point of the runway waiting for the Edwardians when the T-6 came out. It went past me at the end of its topside pass, sufficiently close to make tracking very difficult, but I managed to spin round and get off a couple of shots. Amazingly they were quite sharp, better than many where I had all the time in world! Evenings can be a bit frustrating as there is often low cloud on the horizon which hides the sun and sometimes the lovely evening light has gone by the time it calm enough to fly them. I think that this event was the first this year where the weather was suitable for them. Just to make you more jealous my favourite photo of the Blackburn was taken on my first ever visit.
