Love it...awesome work on that!

Never knew that about the slats/flaps on the ground...saves much conversion work.

Dermot

Yeah, I suppose it does.

I guess then from a realism point of view all these builds with the canopies open, ladder down with no pilots in and the wings forward with flaps and slats dropped is a lesser seen setup.

But its artistic license I guess as you do see the odd pic of them like that.

ps glad you like the model 👍🏿

Another stunning build and another stunning 'Cat.  Love the picture from the font angled aspect looking straight down the intake - very nicely done.

Thanks for passing on the tips regarding the launch setup - have you built the Italeri Carrier Deck at all, would be perfect for these builds.

Do you sleep at all...?? So much top quality work coming from you!!

These type of photos are rare though... Photographers preferred the all out look at the point of launch obviously, dont we all :)

Hello,Tony - You've certainly got your Tomcat builds off to a fine art. This 'Diamondback' is typical of your topics on RFI.Simply superb.

Unlikely, but not impossible. In all my picture books of the mighty Turkey, I found one in just that configuration - so there is a prototype for everything! :) Trouble is, I can't remember what book it's in...!

However, that is another cracking model Tony, really very nicely finished with some lovely subtle weathering!

Top job!
