SU-17/22 M4 KITTY HAWK

Recommended Posts

This is the new Su-17 M4 from Kitty Hawk almost OOB. The only adittions were the fuel tanks and two extra fuselaje pylons taken from old KP Su-22. The kit includes a lot of armament but much of which is not appropriate for an SU-17/22 and in some cases are incomplete (FAB 500 M54 for example). Overall a great improvement over the old KP kit but not worth the price that Kitty Hawk asks for.

I think the early criticism of this kit is a shame as it will have undoubtedly have put a lot of people off but provided you're not a rivet counting perfectionist, and it's fine by me if you are, I think it builds into a lovely looking jet.

This is a beautiful looking build, very nicely weathered, and I like the asymmetric load. Very nice indeed, great inspiration to get back to mine.

Very nice and especially realistic! Only one, SPS-141 for Su-17/22 was sand, green was for Su-25. There are differences in the back of, therefore it was color coded .

I have my Su-25 141 pod in sand... maybe we could just swap? ;)

Lovely looking build, well done. Seems the KH things can turn out well, its just that price hurdle thats annoying.

How were the kit decals?

Turned out stunning!

Thanks also for a realistic/possible load out!

Not worth? Maybe  but definitely looking like it is!
