Wow - I'm very interested in this! Is there a dealer who sells Model Art, or do I need to use Japanese Amazon?  It doesn't show on U.S. Amamzon as being available. Thanks for any advice.

The set was up for sale at the Moson 2017 show in Mid April, was it 15 Euro or so. The plastic parts are very nice! What was more interesting the book which was also for sale.

The book is fantastic!

Best regards

Gabor

If it only contains all that is seen in the image then it's not a complete conversion.  What about cockpit modifications - there were noticeable differences?  As they don't supply a wide-chord vertical fin - meaning you have to have a base kit other than a "C" model, you"ll need an early style exhaust. And possibly narrow main landing gear tires depending on what is in the kit that you use as a base. On the plus side, all 3 jets appear to have the later type rectangular cooling scoop on the right hand side avionics door and not the earlier NACA triangular one, so this doesn't have to be modified. Thoughts anyone?

Oh, is the book the same as, Air Force Legends Number 204, Lockheed NF-104A Aerospace Trainer, for which Tony did the photo research, or a newer, updated version?

There are obviously crossovers as not only the subject matter is quite a limited one, but also the main source is the same, but it is a completely new book with lots of additions the Ginter book didn't have.
