Rui Silva Posted May 18, 2017 Share Posted May 18, 2017 Hi all, Something strange is (not) happening in Zoukei-Mura website's, since the 27th of January Hideyuki Shigeta-san's "The Old Man blog" has not been updated nor any information on the upcoming kits has been released, does anybody has a clue on what's going on? Their next release will be the F-4S and, if I am not mistaken, is expected to be some time at the end of the year. I posted the link to the products that they announced at Shizouka because I inferred your question and post to ask if Zoukei-Mura was still active/alive. Academy ignored it, Zoukei Mura ignored it (and price of Zoukei Mura is very high...). F-4E is real MiG Killer and have too many beautiful and colorful camos ! Rui Silva Posted May 20, 2017 Author Share Posted May 20, 2017 (edited) Dear AICZ, You can say many things about the short-nosed F-4s but in Vietnam they (F-4B/C/D and Js) were the real MiG killers by far, take a look athttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_aerial_victories_of_the_Vietnam_War andhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McDonnell_Douglas_F-4_Phantom_II and check that short-nosed F-4s killed 126.5 MiGs (40 US Navy plus 86.5 USAF) against only 21 by F-4Es. Even if you add Israeli AF F-4E MiG kills (95.5 according to Osprey A/C of the Aces #60 "Israeli F-4 Phantom II Aces") the F-4E has precisely the same number of MiG kills (126.5)!
