1/48 Airfix Spitfire Vb 111 Sq

Evening all 

My entry will be this Spitfire Vb OOB . It will be the black one 111 Sq 

Thanks  for allowing this in Hopefully won't disappoint

This makes for a good model out of the box and what could be more British than a Spitfire. Nice choice :thumbsup:

Apologies for the lack of updates Interior details started Fit so far has been good Should start to get a lot more done over the next few days Thanks for looking

Some progress . Cockpit almost done just seat belts and some more on the IP.Fit of parts quite good any fit issues were my doing. Should have the fuselage buttoned up soon Thanks for looking

Evening All 

This weeks progress Fuselage all closed up Fit is quite good the only slight issue is around the fuel tank which will require some cleaning etc . The wheel wells are done . the wings should be attached by the next update  Thanks for looking

The part itself seems to be narrower to the rear [A tad warped] but the plastic has some flex in it which should help. Also the under fuselage lugs needed a bit of surgery to fit. More pics and progress soon

Well it is black  Now for the dash to make the deadline Decals tomorrow then the U/c and other bits and pieces That is the plan for now ;) Thanks for looking
