I missed this at the start, so now I’m catching up.

You started the -F in 1988! So my 15 year old Spitfire VIII was a ‘new boy’   then. 😆

Take care

JOHN

PS the zoo looks very interesting.

Yep, 1988, one of my oldest started kit...

There are 3 other who are syill waiting to pop up...

I will soon restart one of my most worked on kit...

Thank you John !!

Luckily, the nose will be painted OD...

And choosing the red that match the most the decals...

Whatever the kit has been started in 1988, this is no longer a matter of weeks...:rofl2:

One side bordered in black.... As it should be...

But the other side is.... Da... WHITE !!

Who's going to use is 3 haired brush then...:rage:

No, I probably need a copy, but I do have a sheet of black decal fiim and a scalpel for those kind of jobs. While I can (on a good day) hand paint reasonably well I can never get jobs like that to look right, and end up doing what I call death by a thousand retouches and just annoying myself .:)

Look closely and you will see my shakey hand painting :) should have used some decal film.

One more chance on my hand...

Hello Gents !!

One more night to wait....

Today, 🎶 She's got legs 🎵 ... Where are my beard and my guitar...

But tomorrow will tell me if the dame will stand proud instead of felling on her A....

IMG_20201104_232226

I created this with my big stubby fingers...

It's more a look alike than an accurate reproduction...

IMG_20201104_224250

Almost finished, it's the "craddle for the Jato bottles...

Have a great modelling day !!

Sincerely.

I hope she doesn’t fall on her rear end, very undignified. It’s been a long time since I built a Thunderstreak and can’t remember if it needed noseweight, but the mainwheels are pretty far back so you might be OK. Fingers crossed.

Yiiiihaaaaa !!

Thanks John, I put my usual ballast, a .38 special stuffed in the nose !!

Still, I have to add the payload, jato bottles and air brakes !!

But so far !!

IMG_20201105_131247

Now, I have added some fishing leads in the most forward placed fuel tank...

Next F-84 will be fun too...

Sincerely.
