Reference photos of Chieftains

Hi all,

I am looking to venture into the world of armour....and want to model a Chieftain from the 9/12 lancers based in Detmold in 76/77. 

Can anyone help or point me in the direction, as I cant find anything on the net.

Have you tried contacting the regimental museum in Derby? http://www.9th12thlancersmuseum.org/

 

A quick search there for "chieftain" only came up with some old regimental journals with grainy b/w pics.  But they may have other offline material.

If you are on Facebook there are Regimental pages that may be of help, plus a Chieftain page. 

 

Just had a look through my fairly extensive Chieftain files and I dont have anything identified as 9/12 Lancers or Detmold - just about every other Regiment/location!
