Hello

What did they expect, anyway? One of the earliest jet engines (no bypass whatsoever) at full throttle with its exhaust pipe some two feet above the ground. No wonder tarmac (yes, tarmac) flew around in big chunks. Cheers

I can understand it had the aircraft been sitting on the tarmac for a while but that wasn't the case. Just a shoddy repair job.
