What's the best way to remove humbrol acrylics? I had a little accident with the 

paint job and I kind of want it removed

Oven cleaners and other cleaning products can remove acrylic paints well. I note that you are in the USA so product names will likely be different but in the UK, Mr Muscle and Fairy Power Spray work very well.

Gunze Mr. Paint Thinner. Will not harm clear parts either.

Easy Off oven cleaner. decant it into a dish, apply with an old toothbrush and speed it up a bit by scrubbing. Rinse it off with water. Take care not to get it into the cockpit or other internal spaces and don't assume your seams are water tight.

Bleech White tire cleaner can also work

I use denatured alcohol for removing acrylics.

I use a mix of 1/3  isopropyl alcohol (99%), 1/3 household cleaning ammonia, and 1/3 windshield washer fluid. Its powerful enough to dissolve dried paint buildup inside airbrushes, or if sprayed through and airbrush, washed acrylic paint off like it was watercolors.
