Did they pack enough bombs on there? Anyone know how many versions of this will be produced? Maybe a PZL. 43 is in the offing as well?

A variant have 6 bombs in box, but I can't confirm without research, if B variant had more.

About possible variants, having B (early) logically means we should get B (late). IBG confirmed on Facebook, that there will be Romanian box too, as far as I known Romanian modified some PZL.23 by mounting MG 81Z on back, that would be nice addition.

About PZL.43, it needs at least new engine and hull, and it could be done in two variants, PZL.43 and PZL.43A (different Gnôme-Rhône engine). Some PZL.43A were taken by Polish Army from factory in September 1939 and used by Polish Air Force, so that's additional reason to make it. I don't remember a direct confirmation of PZL.43, but taking into accout what I have mentioned here and fact, that IBG made a single prototype (PZL.42), I'm a optimist here.

Anybody knows what is a difference between "early" and "late" Karaś? In model and in real thing. In most of  descriptions only variants A and B are distinguished.

Cheers

The same thing is being discussed on Polish forums here and here. Details seems are explained in No 95 Mini Replika magazine, and seems to be some small modifications added during overhauls.

Err for those who don't speak Polish, what are the "slots" and "collapsable goats" the google translate comes up with?

Original text:-

"Według artykułu pana Krzysztofa Sikory w MiniReplice nr. 95 wczesne Karasie wersji B posiadały jeszcze sloty (dwie pierwsze serie, w sumie 25 płatowców o numerach 44.44 do 44.68).

English translation:-

"According to the article by Mr. Krzysztof Sikora in MiniReplice no. 95 early Karas version B were still slots (the first two series, a total of 25 batting numbers 44.44 to 44.68). Several of them could survive in this form until the outbreak of war. In addition, they did not originally have collapsible goats. The "late" aircraft (from 44.69 to 44.253) without slots, had a collapsible goat, it is not certain whether XI series (44.229 to 44.253) had both headlights for landing or just right. Both variants of course were EDIT: HEIGHT with enlarged surface."

"Sloty" are leading-edge slats, and "kozioł przeciwkapotażowy (collapsable goat)" is rollover protection structure, and  indeed, "kozioł" literally means "male goat" in Polish.

I haven't made research about PZL.23 versions, so I just posted links to discussion, without translating details which I do not know for sure, just telling if somebody is concerned by lack of translation.

Yes, another one for me and I just bought the Techmod decal set for the Rumanian decals, will use them anyway.  Excellent news.

Some Romanian PZL.23 had German MG 81Z mounted on back, if IBG really wants to cover literary every variant, maybe they add those.

So what's the difference between this and the other PZL. 23B kit?

There are small windows on fuselage sides below canopy (on the navigator position). In box you have two sets of fuselages - additional frame with fuselage halves having new openings for windows and old (so without those openings) in "normal " frame... The window is well seen on the box art (compare with previous)
