Botan
Hurray PZL.42 was a experimental Karaś with twin tail. By the way, Karaś means "Crucian carp". (I hope they check plans, not like with RWD-8) Edited March 24, 2018 by Botan
MarkoZG
I hope they will do PZL.43 too, since we didn't have it in injected form so far, unlike these two.

I hope so too, but I don't remember that PZL.42 had injected model. I'm checking comments under IBG's post, and they responded, that PZL.46 Sum is planned too.

MarkoZG
For PZL.42 I meant Accura's kit which was in fact Heller's injected P.23 supplemented by modified parts in resin, so that is why I considered it injected. The only PZL.43 in 1/72nd scale that I know of is a vacuformed model from previous century. I forgot the name of the producer.

Learstang
Finally, a nice modern injection-moulded PZL.23! Definitely one that will be on my list. Regards, Jason

TonyTiger66
There's nothing about these posts I don't like !! Yay !! I love the Heller kit, but a breath of fresh air was needed. Plus now we have the 42, and the 'Sum' is on it's way. I have a lovely old 1/48 vac model of the Sum, but no room for it, so 1/72 will be bought! In fact all of these (and Arma's PZL P 7a!) will be bought. Great stuff IBG . . TonyT

Learstang
A Los would be nice, but whilst we're dreaming, how about an injection-moulded Zubr? Ah the Zubr; what an outstanding aeroplane! Something like a Polish Botha. Still, I'd love to see one - the Choroszy Modelbud kit looks excellent, but it's a bit pricey and all-resin. charlie_c67
Has anyone seen any pricings for these? Lovely as they look, I hope the price isn't too hefty!

The price for their 1/72 RWD 8 is around the equal of GBP £9.20 over here in Oz, which I thought was ok; maybe it's a good indication of the price range we can expect? In my water I feel they may be around £13, but maybe I've been eating too much Asparagus. It just 'feels' right . I've become quite excited by this news; been looking at perhaps purchasing this book in preparation: https://youtu.be/qWTzS2aGJZg Has anyone any views on the book? Worth £15? Best regards TonyT
charlie_c67
Depends which 50% of the Asparagus eating population you are.... Have to say that sounds reasonable. The HLW will be pleased.

Learstang
That's the way it goes sometimes, J-W! I've often bought old kits, only to have someone come out with better kits. I do have the old injection-moulded kit of the Los, but I'll gladly put that aside if IBG come out with a new kit. Regards, Jason
JWM
Jason, it always happens to me.My several scratch conversions and even entirly scratch builds lost some sexapeal due to appearence of a complete injection kit of the same subject. Just to name few cases: Lancaster Mk II, Avia 135, Savoia JRS 79, SAI 207, Reggiane 2005, Caproni 310, Kawasaki Ki 100, Narthrop Delta, Northrop Gamma 2e, Grumman FF1, Curtiss Hawk III, Curtiss Hawk 75 N, Aispeed Envoy, Ikarus Ik 2, Ju 86R.... Only few still waits for full injection kit: PZL 43, KB 11 Fazan, Wellington Mk VI and Mk 1 (turretless), Caproni 309, Wallace Mk II... For how long? OK I know, many modellers hope that not for a long time! Regards J-W
