Michaelvk
Something that made us all excited was Dragon's announcement and 3D printed tests of their Star Wars kits.. But they've gone worryingly dark on any updates. Am I right in thinking they've got licensing issues?
Richard Baker
From a couple of things I have read Dragon may be having issues involving more than just with the proposed Star Wars kits. IIRC they have skipped a few exhibition shows which they have regularly attended for many years- from reserving space and not showing up to not reserving a space at all. I hope it's not true- the more players the better the motivation for all companies to up their game.
Samuelmcguire
They did similar things with the 1/9 action heroes model they just pulled them and there hasn't been any since the Guardians of the Galaxy kits.. they also got a lot of grief about the accuracy not being great for their Star Wars prototypes especially being compared to the bandai kits
Caerbannog
No idea about their other kits but they did not deliver very good accuracy with their NASA kits either... The only SW anouncement from them I was eager about was their large AT-AT. I am still with Richard Baker about DML and hope for the best.
Michaelvk
I guess it's back to the Revell AT-AT with all its foibles, I suppose. Such a pity. I would've easily have gotten two of DML's offerings..
