Bullbasket
Not that I didn't like and admire your QL's Sean, but it's nice to see you produce a different type, and it's started off really well. I look forward to seeing a Matador or even something along the lines of one I did many moons ago, the K6. You've got my interest. Regards, John.

Austin K6 is here part done John, time and other distractions have put it on hold temporarily, if I remember my 'list' of up coming projects its due back to the top after this and some wheel/tyre sets are made. vindicareassassin
A small update on this one.... As I've been distracted by trying to clear my back-log of shelf queens this one has been left for a while, but while I wait for the bases to dry on my Opels, ( see my other post re the Opels ) I've done a bit more..... Still to finish the kit rear door and add steps to mine then on to make the 'open' sides for mine and the kit..... More to follow..... Faffed around making some tyre/wheel combinations to have the Dunlop Trac type tyre instead of the usual bar grip tyre manufacturers are all so happy to provide us with.... Made and fitted the dual tool storage boxes and truck fuel tanks, plus the masters of same, and also started the engineers lathes Made the 'Jumper' cable that is normally stored just along the canvas joint.... That's it for now, more to follow soon..... ATB Sean

Bullbasket
As with another well known "pastime", you'll go blind eventually! I don't know how you manage it in this scale, but well done. It's looking good. John.

Haha, the secret is to have a good woman do those kind of things for you, then its her that goes blind not you, which has the benefit that the blinder she becomes the better looking you get ATB Sean

Bullbasket
Absolutely brilliant Sean. Terrific detail work. I spent a fortnight on exercise in Germany in the 60's and my tent was right next to three 27kva generators which were running the whole time we were there. After a week we got used to them, but when I got back home, I couldn't sleep because it was too quiet. John.

Bullbasket
Sean, I would struggle to get that detail in 1/35th, let alone 1/72nd. I take my hat off to you. I take it that those chains were the smallest that you could find? John.

Friendship have the cab, but not released it to date I now sell the WOT6 as a bare chassis Kit, this is a kit of the cab, chassis, wheels, GS fuel tank and spare ( ie behind the cab in a frame) and a flat plate as a start for you to scratch build any body off of.... Cost is £10 + p&p..... I also do the Bedford QLC/D/T chassis in the same design for the same money and I've also got 2 of the Austin K6 as a bare chassis kit too for £12 each If you go to my blog page at [email protected] there is a full price list of what I currently do and their availability in the sticky post on the front page. You can order via email at [email protected] Hope that helps ATB Sean
