Belenko's 'Bat ++FINISHED++

Recommended Posts

For this group build I'll be doing Hasegawa's 1/72 Mig-25 Foxbat.  Specifically, the one used by Lt. Belenko to defect to Japan in 1976.

Great choice Ian.This brings memories back as I remember the news coverage well of the incident.

It also means that if I run out of time then I can claim it's a diorama of it being disassembled by the CIA. :evil_laugh:

Fuselage closed up, starting on the air intakes.  Some kit's have ejector pin marks, this one on the other hand has full double Gloucester cheeses sticking out of the intake walls !! :rage:

I now face a great modelling dilemma - Belenko's aircraft on its famous flight did not carry missiles. But come on, it's a Foxbat - I can't not arm it !!! :hmmm:

Nope, and I am not sure if it will work from a PC. I tried to place a link to your picture, but it didn't work.

Hopefully you have more luck.

Great photography, love the shot from the ground, very real. Conopy is great too that you can actually see in, grey colour is accurate, shape and lines fab, great job
